POJAT is a coordinating organisation and we cooperate with hosting organisations in the field of professional open youth in the region.

VOLUNTEER PARK IN
We are looking for one volunteer for the youthcenter park in. The youth center park in offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. The main meeting point is the youth café. Furthermore you find an outdoor skateboard area, pool billard, table soccer, computer, table tennis, DJ workstation, free internet access, cooking facilities, concert and music facilities, workshop rooms and more. Park in offers different punctual activities etc.
Service duration: October 2023 until September 2024 (12 months)
Main topics: Being part of the multi-professional “park in”-team, supporting the youth workers in the youth center, planning and organising youth leisure activities and events together with colleagues and youngsters, working at the youth café, basic cooking for and with youngsters, working with kids and youngsters (supporting them in spending their leisure-time in the youth center, for example playing different games, sports, talking, participating in activities with them), developing creative new ideas with young people, supporting social media for the youth center, taking part in regular team meetings;

VOLUNTEER POINT
We are looking for one volunteer for the youth center point. The youth center point focuses on the areas of leisure activities (indoor & outdoor activities, sport activities, cultural events, health etc.), information and counseling of youth who live in and around Jenbach. The main emphasis is being put on organising meaningful ways for young people to spend their free time.
Service duration: September 2023 until July 2024 (11 months)
Main topics:
The volunteer will be engaged in a variety of tasks and activities, 35 hours per week, on five days per week. The volunteer is supported by the team and will participate in team meetings. The most important "activity" is to get in contact with the young visitors at the youth center. It is important that the person likes to play and communicate with youngsters and likes to listen. Each of us in the team is some kind of a "role model", also the volunteer.

VOLUNTEER YUNIT
The youth center Yunit offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and games - for example the Youth Café, a party room, a small garden, a girls’ room, lunch opening, pool billiard, table tennis, Xbox, TV, Airhockey, DJ workstation, internet access, cooking possibility, concert and music facilities, workshops and different punctual activities etc.
Service duration: October 2023 until September 2024 (12 months)
Main topics:
- Being part of the Yunit team in the daily work
- planning and organising youth leisure activities and events together with youngsters and staff members
- doing simple bar work
- being creative and bringing in own ideas into the project via workshops and so on
- taking part in regular team meetings
- bar work at our live concerts (every second month, mostly Rock Music)
- The service is around 30 hours per week
- Taking part in activities/workshops
- Taking part at trainings (On Arrival Training and Mid Term Training)

VOLUNTEER TELFS
We are looking for two volunteers for Telfs. The town of Telfs has a youth coordination department with the focus on open youth work (youth center and streetwork) and after-school support in the community of Telfs.
Service duration: October 2023 until September 2024 (12 months)

- being part of the team in the daily youth work
- planning and organising youth leisure activities and events together with youngsters and staff members
- supporting the after-school-support-team
- doing simple bar work

Strategische Partnerschaft: DISQOJA
Diskursive Qualitätsentwicklung der Offenen Jugendarbeit
Das Projekt will die OJA in Tirol (Österreich) und Südtirol (Italien) vorantreiben und qualitativ weiterentwickeln. Es soll die gesellschaftliche Wirkung und Anerkennung von Offener Jugendarbeit aufgezeigt werden. Weiteres sollen junge Menschen mit ihrem Engagement und ihrem Gestaltungspotential in der Weiterentwicklung von Angeboten der OJA eingebunden werden: Mit ihrem Empowerment und ihrer Vernetzungskraft gestalten sie Offene Jugendarbeit. Nicht zuletzt wachsen die Mitarbeiter*innen der Dachverbände POJAT und NETZ, ebenso die Praktiker*innen der Jugendeinrichtungen, durch länderspezifische und -übergreifende Zusammenarbeit.
Im Zuge der begleiteten Umsetzung von Qualitätsdialogen in Südtirol werden Jugendeinrichtungen am Projekt beteiligt, die bislang noch nie oder selten an einem Erasmus+ Projekt zur Strategischen Partnerschaft teilgenommen haben. Es handelt sich hier um Jugendtreffs, Jugendzentren und Jugendkulturvereine, welche die OJA in Südtirol umsetzen und sich zu der begleiteten Durchführung eines Qualitätsdialoges entscheiden. Einerseits ermöglichen es die Jugendeinrichtungen den NETZ-Prozessbegleiter*innen direkte Erfahrungen im Feld zu sammeln, welche mit den POJAT-Expert*innen reflektiert werden. Andererseits fließen ihre Feedbacks und Anregungen in die Adaption der Qualitätstools ein. Hierfür kooperieren POJAT und NETZ mit dem beruflichen Mitarbeiter der bOJA, der für die Wartung der IT-Datenbank zuständig ist. Nicht zuletzt werden über das Projekt Jugendliche beteiligt, welche das Angebot der Offenen Jugendarbeit in Südtirol nützen. Ihre Expertise besonders in Bezug auf “leichte, jugendgerechte Sprache” unterstützt die Überarbeitung des digitalen Fragebogens für Jugendliche. In einem transnationalen Treffen zwischen POJAT und NETZ, zwischen interessierten Jugendeinrichtungen von Südtirol und Tirol werden Erfahrungen
und Erkenntnisse hinsichtlich des Projektes reflektiert und evaluiert. Die breite Einbindung des Arbeitsfeldes der Offenen Jugendarbeit sowohl in Südtirol als auch in Tirol trägt zur Nachhaltigkeit der Ergebnisse bei. Zur Verbreitung der Projektergebnisse werden Printmedien, Soziale Medien und vorhandene Kommunikationskanäle (wie Newsletter, E-Mail, Telefon) bespielt. Zur tragfähigen Verankerung des Projekts dienen persönliche Gespräche, bestehende Arbeitskreise und Netzwerktreffen. NETZ wird Themen der qualitativen und quantitativen Weiterentwicklung der OJA regelmäßig in den sogenannten „Treffen der geschäftsführenden Mitarbeiter*innen“ und bei der „Plattform der Offenen Jugendarbeit“ vertiefen.
